Neni examines the systems, resources, relationships, and institutions that expand or constrain women's ability to make consequential choices about their lives — through research, education, storytelling, convening, and action.

How we pursue the mission

Research

We study what helps or holds women back, and explain it in clear, plain words. Our findings turn into briefs and reports that policymakers, funders, and communities can actually use — not shelved.

Education

We turn complicated policy and development language into something anyone can read and use. Through workshops, guides, and plain-language explainers, we equip women and the people who serve them to act on what the research shows.

Stories

We share women's real experiences, told with respect — not as tales of hardship. These stories humanize the data, giving decision-makers a face and a voice to remember when they set policy.

We bring people together — experts, institutions, and the women affected — to talk honestly. These conversations surface what reports miss and build the relationships needed to turn ideas into shared action.

Action

We build practical programs with partners, and we'll say so as it takes shape. Research becomes pilots, pilots become partnerships, and partnerships become lasting change in women's daily lives.
